EAST LANSING, MI (12-29-25) — No. 11 Michigan State Spartans held off a determined Cornell Big Red team for a 114–97 win at the Breslin Center, improving to 12–1 on the season.
Jeremy Fears Jr. (#1) led the Spartans with 21 points and a game-high 11 assists, while Jackson Kohler (#0) recorded a double-double with 11 points and a game-high 10 rebounds. Cornell was paced by Cooper Noard (#31), who finished with 19 points.
For the month of December, Michigan State went 5–1, picking up wins over Iowa, Penn State, Toledo, Oakland, and Cornell. The Spartans’ lone loss during the month came at home against Duke Blue Devils.
