LANSING, MI (1-30-26) — The Sexton J-DUBBS used a strong middle game to earn a 64-54 victory over the Olivet Eagles Friday night.
After jumping out to a 21-14 lead after the first quarter, Sexton maintained control at 33-27 at halftime and widened the margin to 47-34 through three quarters. Olivet battled back in the fourth, but Sexton closed out the win.
Senior Keyshawn Summerville (#0) led all scorers with 19 points. Seniors Mario Murray (#0) and Kivon “KJ” Brown each added 11 points to the J-DUBBS’ effort.
Olivet was paced by senior Dawson Feldpaush (#14) with 16 points, including four 3-pointers, and sophomore Reece Kritchlow (#5) scored 15 points.
With the win, Sexton improves to 15-2, while the Eagles fall to 8-10 on the season.
