PINCKNEY, MI (5-16-26) — In a Women’s Football Alliance showdown between neighboring states, the Lansing Legacy made a loud statement Saturday night, shutting out the visiting Columbus Chaos 42-0 in dominant fashion.

Quarterback Haley Dutton (#19) controlled the game through the air, keeping the Legacy offense moving from start to finish. Meanwhile, running back Elizabeth Speaks (#3) once again proved to be one of the league’s most dangerous weapons, piling up rushing yards and multiple scores as Lansing overwhelmed Columbus on both sides of the ball.

The Legacy defense also delivered a standout performance, keeping the Chaos off the scoreboard while forcing mistakes and controlling field position throughout the contest. Lansing’s balanced attack and relentless defensive pressure helped the home team stay unbeaten and improve to 3-0 on the Women’s Football Alliance season.

The victory continues an impressive start for Lansing, which has quickly established itself as one of the teams to watch early in WFA play. The Legacy opened the year with a 25-6 victory over the Michigan Mercenaries and now prepares for a rematch against their in-state rivals.

The Legacy will host its remaining home games at Pinckney High School. Up next, Lansing faces a rematch against the Michigan Mercenaries as the Legacy looks to remain undefeated.

Remaining games on the schedule include a June 6 matchup against the East Tennessee Valkyrie before Lansing heads back to Columbus for another showdown with the Chaos later this season.
