BELMONT, MI (June 20, 2026) – Moving Day is underway at the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give as players battle for position heading into Sunday’s final round at Blythefield Country Club. With just 36 holes remaining when play began Saturday morning, China’s Jing Yan entered the weekend atop the leaderboard at 10-under par, chasing her first LPGA Tour victory.
The third round began Saturday at 8:35 a.m. with Yan carrying a one-shot advantage over England’s Lottie Woad and Australia’s Cassie Porter, who both sit at 9-under. Minji Kang and Yan Liu remain within striking distance at 8-under, while Rio Takeda, Jenny Bae, Ana Belac and Mary Liu opened the day tied at 7-under.
Friday’s second round produced several memorable moments as players navigated challenging conditions at Blythefield Country Club. Yan fired a bogey-free 66, matching the low round of the day while converting birdies on all four par-5 holes she played. The LPGA veteran, who joined the tour in 2015, finds herself leading an LPGA event after a round for the first time in her career.
“It’s not a position that I’ve had too much experience with in the past, so I’m really excited and looking forward to being in this position,” Yan said following Friday’s round.
Woad also posted a bogey-free 66 to move into a share of second place. The rising LPGA star continued her impressive rookie campaign by birdieing four of the course’s five par-5 holes while missing just two fairways all day.
Porter remained firmly in contention after carding a 68. The Australian has recorded just two bogeys through 36 holes and continues to pursue her first LPGA Tour victory.
One of Friday’s biggest highlights came from Minji Kang, who electrified spectators with a hole-in-one on the par-3 15th hole. Kang’s ace from 161 yards marked the 11th hole-in-one on the LPGA Tour this season and helped vault her into contention entering the weekend.
The tournament continues to showcase why it has become one of West Michigan’s premier sporting events. Beyond the competition, thousands of fans have gathered at the expanded J. Brewer’s | Frederik’s hospitality venue, where local restaurants, entertainment and community engagement combine to create one of the LPGA Tour’s most unique spectator experiences. Tournament proceeds continue to benefit the Simply Give hunger relief program, which has raised more than $13 million for local food pantries since the event’s inception.
The cut line settled at 2-under par Friday, ending the week for several notable players, including World No. 2 Jeeno Thitikul and three-time LPGA Tour winner Lauren Coughlin.
Saturday’s schedule also included the Meijer LPGA 5K Presented by RXBAR and a junior clinic at Boulder Creek Golf Club, while fans attending the third round will also be treated to a Red Bull Skydivers exhibition near the 18th green.
