FRANKENMUTH, MI (2-13-26). — The Frankenmuth girls basketball team continued its strong run through conference play with a decisive 63-40 victory over Freeland, improving to 10-7 overall and 9-1 in the Tri-Valley Conference Red.

From the opening tip, the Eagles set the tone on both ends of the floor, using defensive pressure and balanced scoring to create separation. Frankenmuth controlled the tempo, capitalizing on transition opportunities and limiting Freeland’s offensive rhythm.

With the win, the Eagles remain firmly in the hunt atop the TVC Red standings, showcasing consistency and momentum as the regular season enters its final stretch.

Freeland, now 12-6 overall and 6-3 in conference play, battled throughout but struggled to close the scoring gap. The Falcons remain competitive in the league race and will look to regroup in upcoming matchups.

Frankenmuth’s depth and disciplined execution proved to be the difference, as the Eagles continue to build confidence heading toward postseason play.
