On a night dedicated to honoring seniors Carly Dennis (#12) and Sophia Beland (#14), the DeWitt Panthers delivered exactly what they hoped for — a decisive 47-32 win over the visiting Cedar Springs Red Hawks.

With the home crowd energized for Senior Night festivities, DeWitt controlled the tempo and closed strong to secure the program’s 17th win of the season, improving to 17-4 overall while handing Cedar Springs its fifth loss (16-5).

Dennis led the Panthers with 12 points in her final regular-season home appearance, showcasing poise and leadership throughout the contest. Beland added 4 points while contributing in key moments beyond the stat sheet.

Jaynie English (#22) chipped in 8 points, while Golden Nicholson (#24) added 9 points to give DeWitt balanced scoring support. The Panthers’ defensive effort limited Cedar Springs to 32 total points, applying pressure and contesting shots across all four quarters.

For the Red Hawks, Ella Peck (#2) led all scorers with 13 points, and Elliana Strunk (#20) contributed 12 in the loss.
